Trinity Stitchers Making A World of Difference

The Trinity Stitchers sewing group recently sent another 25 dresses to disadvantaged girls in Kenya, Africa. This service project was featured last month on Pleasant Valley Assembly of God’s TV series Joy in the City. To date, the Trinity Stitchers have made and distributed approximately 175 dresses. They will soon be announcing a sew date to make more dresses, and everyone is invited to join the group. Even if you don’t sew, there are other things you can do to help. Catching up on what’s going on at Trinity Altoona… A reminder to join us for pizza and games at Trinity Hall, tomorrow afternoon from 4 to 6PM. Pizza be with you! A new 7-week Adult Bible Study session starts at the end of March, focusing on the Book of Proverbs. You can choose from Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday groups. Don’t Forget, Daylight Savings Time Starts Tonight!

Remember to set all your clocks ahead 1 hour before you go to bed tonight. Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2AM. Cell phones and computers should change the time automatically for you, but you’ll likely need to adjust wristwatches, wall clocks, clock radios, microwave ovens, coffee makers, car radios etc. manually. It’s also a good time to put fresh batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. FYI, Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday November 5. See you in church, on time, tomorrow morning 🙂

Trinity members, their families and friends are invited to join us for an afternoon of pizza and games at Trinity Hall, Sunday March 19 from 4-6PM. The Evangelism Committee will provide all the basic pizza ingredients and beverages. We’ll be making our own custom pizzas, so you’re welcome to bring any special toppings or snacks, along with any family-friendly games you’d like to play.
