Christmas Concert Kicks off December at Trinity

The Johnstown Brassworks will present a free holiday music concert at Trinity Altoona, Sunday December 3 at 3PM. The quintet is comprised of Joshua Brumbaugh (Tuba), Jerrod Cannistraci (French Horn), Jason June (Tuba), Eric Pfeil (Trumpet) and Rebekah Stombaugh (Trumpet). Their repertoire includes traditional hymns, classical music, jazz and contemporary songs. Funding for the concert is being provided by the Dr. William Sunderman Endowment, so there is no charge for admission. Sunderman is a deceased member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.

Share The Joy of a Toy This Christmas

Christmas is coming and Trinity Altoona is once again happy to be a part of the Toys for Tots campaign. Our mission is to help every child receive “The Joy of a Toy!” The Toys for Tots collection will continue through Sunday December 3. Fall Banquet On This Sunday’s Menu

Trinity Altoona’s annual Fall Banquet is coming up this Sunday November 12, featuring a menu of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, haluska, corn, rolls and assorted desserts. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under age 5 eat for free. Christmas Bazaar Coming Tomorrow

Ready to start your Christmas shopping? The Trinity Stitchers sewing group is holding their annual Christmas Bazaar tomorrow, Saturday November 4, from 9AM to 3PM in Trinity Hall. Choose from a variety of unique handmade gifts, including change purses, soup bowl cozies and table runners. They’ll also be serving lunch and a selection of baked goods for dessert.
